Follow-Up Meeting with University of Jordan Professors on Boer Goat Program

 

On Wednesday, November 12 2025, Totah Hill Agricultural Investment LLC hosted professors from the University of Jordan’s Agricultural School at Totah Hill Farm in Kuraymah for a follow-up meeting on advancing the Boer goat breeding program.

The discussion focused on evaluating progress since the October meetings, reviewing the farm’s planned infrastructure buildouts, and outlining the next steps needed to support embryo transfer, herd development, and long-term improvement of meat goat production in Jordan. The visit reflects the growing partnership between Totah Hill and the University of Jordan to strengthen modern, science-based livestock production in the region.

University of Jordan Students Visit Totah Hill Farm for Soil & Citrus Health Study

 

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025 Totah Hill Farm welcomed a group of agriculture students from the University of Jordan for an educational field trip focused on soil health and citrus tree research.

During their visit, the students conducted soil sampling and nematode tests in several sections of the orchard, examining how soil conditions affect the growth and productivity of citrus trees. Guided by their professors and the Totah Hill Farm team, they explored sustainable farming practices and discussed the relationship between soil management, water use, and tree vitality.

The visit offered hands-on learning opportunities and valuable data for the students’ university research projects, while also providing Totah Hill Farm with helpful insights into maintaining healthy, productive soil.
